The Stranniki is a joint project of Polina Shepherd and Psoy Korolenko, two multilingual and multi-genre artists who have been known on the Jewish music scene for over two decades.
The central concept of their repertoire is the wanderer and the associated archetype of the road. The Stranniki turn to poetry and songs from Jewish and Russian literature, folklore and popular culture of the 19th and 20th centuries, organically interweaving their own original material.
Their first joint album reveals a unique continuity of lyrics, melodies, roads and destinies,  inspiring and meaningful today, perhaps even more than ever.
